Introduction to San Francisco's Growth Marketer

Goals and aspirations from Trevor Merz's side project

First and foremost, thank you for visiting my business. This business was started initially to process payments from contract jobs, but as more interest has been peaked I am offering my after hours services as a standalone entity. My focus for the last couple years has been in agency -- working with various brands and goals omnichannel. I'm now offering the core of digital marketing services with a focus on mobile growth and event marketing.

Like everyone else, I'm currently working on promising ways to tackle iOS 14.5 but with a focus on core principals of advertising. While we may lose some attribution due to privacy, it's still important to make sure the strategies executed on carry a strong message. The way I like to break down custom initiatives is focus on the tech first. This means making sure we can gauge our efforts together and that we're both setup for success.

It's important to have the following pieces in place:

  1. Goals - Cost per action, clicks, impressions, engagement, installs
  2. Traffic - Direct response, awareness, video views
  3. Creative - Videos, images, copy

Whatever we agree on we'll have to have a true north for tracking, such as Google Analytics or MMP data (like Kochava, Adjust, Appsflyer, Singular).
